Day 01: Dehi - Chandigarh - Shimla
Fly to Chandigarh. On arrival at Chandigarh airport our driver will meet you at the airport and drive(3hours) to Shimla. On arrive check in Hotel in Shimla.
Day 02: Shimla
Prepare your Inner Line Permit to visit remote area of Spiti valley. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Shimla visiting Indian Institute of advance studies, the state museum and Historical Mall. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 03: Shimla - Sarahan 6 Hours drive
After breakfast drive to Sarahan, a small village at the boarder of Shimla and Kinnaur districts of Himachal Pradesh. 2 Hours drive thought thick cedar forest takes us to Narkanda from where we descend down to Rampur and Sarahan. Check in Hotel in Sarahan. Afternoon visit the famous Bhimakali temple in Sarahan. From here we have superb view of Shrikhand Mahadev peak.
Day 04: Sarahan - Sangla 3 hours drive
This day you enter into Sangla-Baspa Valley, one of the most beautiful and hidden valleys in Himachal Pradesh. Driving on the old Hindustan-Tibet road along Satluj river we take a side road from Karcham to enter into this hidden valley. Check in Hotel in Sangla.
Day 05: Sangla - Chitukul - Sangla 2 hours drive
After breakfast drive to Chitkul, the last village on indo-Chinese boarder. Walk inside Chitkul village. Later drive back to Sangla. Afternoon visit Kamru Fort temple above Sangla village. Overnight stay in Hotel in Sangla.
Day 06: Sangla - Kalpa 2 hours drive
After breakfast drive to Kalpa. From here you have the most beautiful view of the holy Kinner-Kailash mountain. Arrive Kalpa and check in hotel. Later go for a short walk in the village.
Day 07: Kalpa - Tabo 8 hours drive
Today you will notice a dramatic change in the landscape as you enter from Kinnaur into Spiti valley-the green Kinnaur valley is suddenly replaced by dry dessert of Spiti valley. You drive along Satluj river to Khab where spiti river meets the Satluj. From Khab it is uphill drive on a zigzag road to Nako village and then to Tabo. Check in hotel in Tabo. Evening visit 1000 years old Tabo monastery which houses the ancient scriptures and ancient thangka painings.
Day 08: Tabo - Dhankar - Pin Valley - Kaza 4 hours drive
Leave after breakfast and you spend the whole day on the road making some side excursions to visit the remote villages and monasteries. Dhankar monastery is situated on top of a hill and is approachable by a small mountain road. Also visit Kungri monastery in Pin valley and the remote village of Mud at the end of Pin valley. Arrive Kaza late afternoon and check in Hotel.
Day 09: Kaza - Ki Gompa - Kibber - Gete - Kaza
This day you will make a side excurstion to visit Ki monatery and Kibber village and Gete, one of the most highest permanently inhabited village in the world. Drive back to Kaza for overnight stay.
Day 10: Kaza - Kunzum Pass (4500M) Chandertal 6 hours drive
Leave after early breakfast and drive to Kunzum Pass (4500 M) from where you have beautiful view of the high Himalayan peaks. Once we cross Kunzum Pass we enter into Lahul valley. It is a side drive on a very rough road to Chandertal , the most beautiful high altitude mountain lake. There is no suitable accommodation at Chandertal Lake. You either stay in tents which are already put there or take one for your self.
Day 11: Chandertal - Manali 7 Hours drive
Drive along Chandera river that originates from Chandertal to Gramphu from where you ascend to Rohtang Pass to enter into Kullu valley. Arrive Manali late in the afternoon and check in Hotel.
Day 12: Manali
Full day to tour around Manali visiting Vashishat hot water spring and Solang Valley. Those who are interested can take a 3 hours walk from Solang to old Manali. Visiti Hadima Devi Temple. Overnight stay in Hotel in Manali.
Day 13: Manali - Chandigarh - Delhi
Early morning drive from Manali to Chandigarh(9 hours drive) to board Shatabadi Express train to Delhi.
Or you can also take an overnight Volvo Bus from Manali to Delhi.
